I’ve been a Lancashire Baby Photographer for 9 years now and have been lucky enough to photograph hundreds of gorgeous babies. Offering Newborn Sessions in my Accrington Baby Studio means I don’t get out much! So it was an absolute joy to meet baby Aria when her grandad bought a voucher for a home lifestyle session at Christmas.
I travelled over to the cute little village where they live near Ramsbottom, Lancashire to meet the Maguire family at their beautiful home.

I offer both studio Newborn Baby Sessions (babies under 4 weeks) and home lifestyle sessions which are suitable for babies of any age but also older children and families. Lifestyle sessions are done in the home and using natural lighting and perfect for anyone who didn’t get chance to get photos during the ‘Newborn’ phase.
Aria was 6 months old and just learning to sit unaided, mum and dad joked that she reminded them of a baby gorilla when sitting, she certainly made an adorable baby gorilla and showed us her best cheeky smiles.
We deliberately timed the shoot so that we worked around Aria’s usual nap time and I usually allow for any settling needed during the session as all babies do their own thing. Aria was an absolute angel and smiled happily whilst playing and even smiled through an entire outfit change!
At the end of the session it was nearly nap time and we even managed a few photos in the nursery with her favourite toys.
